We thought it would be fun to get to know a little bit more about our Anthology Artists so we've asked them to participate in a Q&A. Here's the "Quick Six" with Anthology Artist bassist Philip Chuah, currently on tour with Charlie Puth:
1. First concert you attended?
The first concert I ever attended was Owl City in Tokyo, Japan.
2. How old were you when you started playing the bass?
I was about 16 or 17.
3. Venue you would love to play at or favorite venue that you have already played at?
Madison Square Garden! It's like the Mecca for musicians.
4. Artist or song you are into most right now?
"Movin'" Live in London, by Ben Jones.
5. Do you have any pre-show rituals or superstitions?
Just warming up my hands and making sure I'm warm and blood is flowing!
6. Who has inspired you most as a musician?
Thaddeus Tribbett, Pino Palladino, Marcus Miller, Mono Neon, Derrick Hodge, Anthony Jackson, Jimmy Johnson, the list is forever!
