Born in Georgia, but raised on the water south of Boston, MA. Jackson started singing as a child, and was influenced by old reggae and soul legends, as well as artists like Jack Johnson and Slightly Stoopid. These artists captivated and led him to teach himself the guitar and delve into song writing while a young student. After high school, Jackson started making a name for himself locally and touring nationally and internationally through Europe and the Caribbean.

Jackson is now the lead vocalist, writer and rhythm guitarist for American reggae band The Elovaters. Their debut album, THE CORNERSTONE, sophomore album Defy Gravity and newest EP Double Vision reached top 10 on Billboard and ITunes charts, with Double Vision teaching top 50 in overall genres on iTunes. The band has toured extensively across the country opening for bands like Ziggy Marley, Stick Figure, Pepper, The Movement, Easy Star Allstars, John Brown’s Body, Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad and more.
