We thought it would be fun to get to know a little bit more about our Anthology Artists so we've asked them to participate in a Q&A. Here's the "Quick Six" with Anthology Artist Jackson Wetherbee:
1. First concert you attended?
The first concert I ever went to was a Weird Al concert that I had won tickets to.
2. How old were you when you started playing guitar?
I was 15/16 when I started learning how to play acoustic guitar and picked up the electric six years ago.
3. Venue you would love to play at (or a dream venue that you have already played at)?
Definitely Red Rocks
4. Artist or song you are into most right now?
I have been listening to a lot of Blake Mills lately.
5. Do you have any pre-show rituals or superstitions?
Pre-show we usually stretch, get into the proper mental headspace, group huddle and pump up session, one mixed drink and hit the stage!
6. Who has inspired you most as a musician?
When I was young there were several bands that inspired me to want to learn acoustic guitar: Jack Johnson, Ray Lamontagne, Bob Marley, Dispatch. From there I started listening to pretty much everything.
