Excellent quality, durable leather

This is my third purchase from Anthology Gear. All three of my straps are of the utmost quality and could be counted on for years of use and abuse, and they will still hold up and look very professional. The quality and craftsmanship is exceptional.

I got a new Roasted Pine Strat, so... needed another Anthology Strap!!!
This is another fantastic strap from my favorite company!
Everything from Anhthology is nothing but the best quality and always a joy to have!
Highly recommend ANY of their products to anyone looking, you will LOVE everything they have!!!

Excellent Quality and Construction.
Would purchase other Anthology gear in future.

Exceptionally well made. Elciits unsolicited compliments. True to size, though somehow bigger than expected; can serve as an overnight bag if I ditch the laptop for a tablet. Comfortable to use. Will undoubtedly last a lifetime.

Beautiful coloring, comfortable and very well made! Loving it! A great value!

The quality of this strap is unmatched in the marketplace. I bought my initial one and was so impressed that I bought another one my second guitar.

Beautiful quality leather with perfect stitching……I am buying number 3 today!

I’ve been fortunate enough to purchase 3 of these straps and I can’t say enough about how great they are, all around!
As the title mentions, they’re extremely comfortable, simple but stylish, a great price and with a quality that I’ve yet to experience in any guitar strap!
Thank you, Anthology! I’ll be back for more

I've had my eyes out for a good leather strap for a few years now. Everything else out there falls into one of three camps: pure junk; straps made by well-regarded companies, but with questionable leather (they won't tell you where it comes from, but use telltale terms like "genuine leather"), and straps made by artisans out of great full-grain leather, usually sold on Etsy shops—but who maybe don't know much about guitar and bass players.
Anthology brings the good materials together with an understanding of what musicians want. I'm very happy with this strap. When I wrote to ask details about the leather, they were forthcoming about the tannery. I'm surprised they don't advertise this ... it's one of the better tanneries in Mexico, with a reputation for quality products and for being a leader in sustainability.
It would be cool if they offered vegetable-tanned leathers as an option. These tend to be stiffer when new, but break in beautifully and often wear more nicely than chrome-tanned. But this is very nice chrome-tanned leather, and is probably lower maintenance than veg-tanned.
It's also very comfortable. My other bass has a "comfort strap" on it — revered by grandpas and long-suffering rockers with back and nerve problems. But I can say that the Anthology is just as comfortable, and looks much, much better than that dorky thing.

Amazing quality and comfort - I own two and love them

Very durable. Very beautiful. Quality leather, expertly put together. I trust my Kamaka ukulele to be transported in this.

What a great feeling strap. Got it quickly.
Love it. Definitely will get another when I get another guitar. Thanks!

Was looking for an out of the ordinary leather strap but couldn’t find anything to catch my eye. Somehow I came across this website and was amazed at the straps available. They are out of my price range but couldn’t pass it up. The burnside is well worth it. The craftsmanship on this strap is amazing. I literally went over every stitch since paying that price it should be flawless and it is. Amazing
