Anthology Gear Releases Two New Guitar Straps “Burnside” and “The Brat” This 2019 Holiday Season
LAKE OSWEGO, OR - Like all of pieces by Anthology Gear, their two new guitar straps, “Burnside” and “The Brat”, are defined by their own unique identities.
Named after the city’s most famous bridge, “Burnside” is Anthology Gear’s tribute to those weathered hunks of metal that straddle Portland’s central tributary. Featuring aged steel leather, antique brass rivets and rope, this rock guitar strap has just the right amount of sophistication and grunge.
When it comes to visually capturing the rebellious, uncompromisingly defiant, anti-mainstream spirit of punk rock, it’s hard not to find inspiration in Schott’s 618 Perfecto leather jacket. The punk rock guitar strap “The Brat” picks up on elements of this iconic piece of apparel with its rich black leather and chrome zipper and snaps.
Made from the highest quality full grain leather and padded with high density premium padding, all Anthology Gear guitar straps offer optimal weight distribution of your guitar for a more comfortable playing experience. The straps are hand-crafted in Leon, Mexico, the leather capitol of the Americas. Each piece is individually hand cut, hand-rubbed and personally machined and hand-sewn.

A customer recently asked us which of our guitar straps is most comfortable. Tyler's response is worth sharing:
All of our straps are made with the same high density foam padding. We try to use the same thickness although there can be a slight variance in padding thickness. Any 3" strap (No Quarter, Reticent, Glitch, Straight Up, etc.) all should be about the same in comfort.
