Hafftka is best known as a visual artist -– his paintings are part of the permanent collections of The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Museum of Modern Art, Brooklyn Museum of Art, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, and others worldwide. Hafftka’s process as a painter –- the motivations and explorations that drive his work -– is evident in his music, and the long-form improvisation of Dreamtime, Feeding Goats seventh album and first for Destiny Records, is a perfect example of his creativity expressed through music. Hafftka composes music for his art installations and collaborations with other artists. The next collaboration is with Vortice Dance Company in Portugal.
